I really liked this book it is so colourful and the emotion in this book it’s just amazing, at the end of the book I didn’t have any words I just loved it so much

Louis Undercover is a book about a boy whose father is an alcoholic and he tries to stop his problems, and his mother is always tired and sad. His little brother, Truffle is the optimistic one, but Louis knows if things really are happy. Along the way, he meets a raccoon, who Truffle immediately names Michael Jackson. He notices a courageous and wise girl named Billie, whose honey hair catches his eye.

He was a very strong boy, trying to put his family back together. I recommend this book because it shows that there are life struggles that Louis has to go through, and there are some things that can help him get his mood up. But still can fade with time. I think this book is a very powerful book. It can pull your spirits down and lift them up again! It is a sad book in general, but the ending is very happy.

Louis Undercover is a fiction story about divorced parents, their kids, and their family. Their son Louis is the main character of the book. This book tells us what is going on with some families around the world. This book would get 4.8 / 5 stars from me. It also kind of tells us what kind of reasons some families divorce, (drinking wine too much and getting drunk in this book) and warns us how hard it is sometimes to actually stay in love with someone. It has a realistic plot, a kind you don’t see in a lot of books, and it’s done so perfectly. The reason it’s so perfect is that there isn’t really any entertaining trouble in the book if it’s just life, but in this book there is some sort of plot to it. It puts me in awe to see how they did it! The only reason it’s not five stars is because I can barely read cursive writing.

it was good. Very sad though. i liked the characters the designs of the characters and the scenes. all together it was a VERY GOOD book.

  7. Vauxhall Elementary School

This is a good story for a counselor or older students, but I felt it hit too close to home to a lot of the students situations.
    Not appropriate for elementary school!!!!
I particularly didn’t like the part when Louis says “Makes me think that i might have to be like him and drink all kinds of wine to forget.” It does portray how the
child feels and the example he is given to follow, but I also feel that it would give vulnerable children the wrong idea, or solution to their problems.

  8. Wildwood school

I think that this book was amazing to see the reality of life. It might be perfect for one minute and then the next everything falls down. For example, when the family went in the city with dad. Their dad drank a little bit of alcohol and everything was horrible again. I suggest this book for readers that realize happy endings are not everything.

  9. Wildwood school

I thought that this book was beautiful. It shows a prespective of a young boy (Louis) who deals with the pain from an alcoholic dad, a mother who’s always sad and a little boy (truffle) who’s really optimistic but he finds a way to keep him going forward

  10. Wild Wood

I think this book is showing how be strong and how to live in the real world. This book was really good and I give it 4.7/5.

  11. Wildwood School

I think this book shows that not everything is perfect in life. It also shows how much alcohol can effect everyday life and how it can end relationships. Not only that, but Louis’s family also shows that how much children can be affected and gives voices to everyone who is like Louis and his dad. If I can rate this book, I would rate it a 9.9/10.

  12. Wildwood school

It was different than what usually read. I loved it because it really left a dent and the fact that the boy had to go through all of that. To know this happens in real life I appreciate that they don’t give away much in the end so your mind can make up. Whatever you want to see , I would definitely recommend this inspiring book.
